To our wonderful patients and their families,
We miss you and your smiling faces! We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. We recognize the impact that this pandemic has had on our children’s lives. As moms and dads, we empathize with the changes and the uncertainty they have faced; school, playdates, dance recitals, proms, graduations, sporting events and simple daily activities that we often took for granted. Our families and community have been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to returning to our normal schedules and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety and to the health and safety of our staff. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.
Our office will communicate with you beforehand to review our new protocols and ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
Families will be able to wait in their cars and our office will contact you when we are ready for your child’s appointment. This will reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
Your temperature and your child’s temperature will be taken upon entering the office.
Face coverings are required upon entering the building and our office as well.
We have hand sanitizer for you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.
We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you.
We are looking forward to seeing you soon and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 973-898-6600.
Thank you all so much for your continued support and patience as we all navigate this new normal and for being a member of our practice family. We value your trust and loyalty and strive to continue to deliver the very best care you have grown accustomed to. We look forward to welcoming you back!

When I came home from my first dental visit with Dr. Suzy at age 6, I told my parents I wanted to be a pediatric dentist. I was enthralled by Dr. Suzy’s warmth, bright and cheery attitude and love of pink. Dr. Suzy and the staff at CDM made going to the dentist fun! As I got older it became clear that my dream was going to become a reality. I spent two summers in college/dental school helping out in the office and getting to learn from the best! I could not feel luckier to be joining Dr. Suzy, Dr. Lisa, Dr. Liz and the entire staff at CDM.Read More
